This work raises serious conceptual and methodological concerns that, in my view, need to be addressed before its conclusions can be considered reliable. Most importantly, the published paper does not provide direct and convincing evidence that AAV crystals were actually formed under different crystallization conditions reported. In addition, multiple concerns have been raised on PubPeer regarding possible image duplication/misrepresentation, data duplication, and statistical anomalies: https://www.pubpeer.com/publications/26A663D0463A4E06D4CE79BA05810C These concerns cannot be resolved through interpretation alone. Without transparent access to the relevant raw data and sufficient experimental evidence, the reported findings remain difficult for the scientific community to independently verify or reproduce.
